Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) Meetings
The GMEC consists of the Directors of Education and Program Directors of each residency training program, the Senior Vice President for Quality, Medical Education, and Research (DIO), the Dean of the School of Medicine, selected faculty representatives, and other appropriate representatives from the major participating institutions.

The GMEC meets a minimum of six (6) times per year in order to develop policies, procedures, and monitoring methods with respect to graduate medical education. The meetings are held the second Tuesday of every other month, beginning in February. They take place in the 3rd floor Conference Board Room, in 15 Medical Park starting at 4 p.m.

Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator Meetings
These monthly meetings are for the program coordinators of each program to meet with the GME office staff. They are held in 15 Medical Park, Conference Room 222 (2nd floor), the second Thursday each month, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch is served.

Chief Residents' Breakfast Meetings
This bimonthly forum is attended by all chief residents, the Senior Vice President for Medical Education and Research, and the Vice President for Medical Education. It is used primarily as an opportunity for identifying problems related to the work environment, which are then addressed by the institutional representatives in attendance. These meetings are held the third Tuesday of every other month, beginning in January. They take place in Three Medical Park, Suite 200, Bagnal Board Room, at 7:00 a.m. and breakfast is served.

Residents' Council Meetings
This forum is open to participation by all residents. It is presided over by elected resident officers and is used to inform the residents of matters of interest to them and to serve as a forum to express their concerns. Both the Senior Vice President for Quality, Medical Education and Research (DIO) and the Vice President for Medical Education attend meetings. These meetings are held the third Tuesday of every other month, beginning in January. They take place in Three Medical Park, Suite 200, Bagnal Board Room, at 7:30 a.m. and breakfast is served.
