Simulation Fellowship Overview

The Palmetto Health-University of South Carolina School of Medicine Simulation Center, in association with the Palmetto Health Emergency Medicine Residency Program, offers a single one-year simulation fellowship each academic year.

Simulation CenterOne of only a handful of such programs in the nation, this fellowship offers a motivated individual the opportunity to have dedicated learning and practice in the various techniques employed in simulation-based education. Our highly trained team and our extensive complement of simulation technologies serve all staff of Palmetto Health Richland, Palmetto Health Baptist and Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge, as well as many pre-hospital and hospital-based providers outside of the Palmetto Health system.

The Palmetto Health-USC School of Medicine Simulation Center is accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). In 2017, SSH gave the Center fantastic, glowing remarks during our accreditation renewal review and the Center also was newly accredited in Systems Integration.
