Mark your calendar for Discover UofSC 2021

Discover UofSC 2021, which showcases research, scholarship, leadership and creativity, will be held virtually on Friday, April 23, 2021

This inspiring annual event showcases research, scholarship, leadership and creative projects by undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and medical scholars representing the entire UofSC System. More than 1,000 presenters are supported by volunteers, reviewers, organizers.

Undergraduate and graduate students, medical scholars and postdocs from all UofSC campuses and Prisma Health are invited to present their research and scholarly work. Faculty, staff and students are also encouraged to join in by serving as reviewers or hosting an outreach exhibit.

Key dates

  • Friday, March 5: Presenter and Outreach Exhibitor registration deadline
  • Wednesday, March 10, 12noon to 1pm: iPosters webinar – Overview of iPosters platform.  Login information will be shared, and the webinar will be recorded for later viewing. 
  • Friday, March 26: Letters of Invitation to Presenters will be sent from iPosters & Reviewer registration deadline
  • Wednesday, March 31, 12noon to 1pm: iPosters webinar – Brief Overview and Q&A.  (Login information will be shared, and the webinar will be recorded for later viewing.
  • Wednesday, April 14: Reviewers will receive assignment on or before this date.
  • Friday, April 23: Discover UofSC virtual event
Discover UofSC 2021 will be a virtual event

Discover UofSC 2021 posters will be created, presented and reviewed on the iPosterSessions virtual conference platform. iPosters created on this platform are highly customizable and can include video clips, audio recordings, photo galleries, graphics of all sizes, text, links and more. The easy-to-master, intuitive iPosterSessions platform will allow presenters in all disciplines to showcase their research, scholarly, leadership and creative projects using content that best suits the features of their work.
