SImulation Center

The Palmetto Health/USC School of Medicine Simulation Center unveiled the simCOACH™. This state of the art mobile simulation center was made possible by an anonymous donor. “Simulation medicine helps ensure Palmetto Health’s physicians and caregivers, as well as those throughout the Midlands region, are well prepared to provide the highest quality, safest care, and ultimately, the best patient experience,” said Palmetto Health CEO Charles Beaman. The goal for the use of the simCOACH™ is to have the necessary resources to train healthcare personnel who may care for patients in high risk situations in the State of South Carolina before having to care for the same live, high risk patients.
